This series contains the meeting audiotapes of the Constitution Revision Commission from 1977 to 1978. The audiotapes cover all of the meetings of the Commission, which sought to change the 1968 Constitution of Florida.

The 1968 Constitution contains a continuous revision clause providing for the revision of the Constitution within the first ten years after approval, and a revision every twenty years thereafter (Article XI, Section 2). The Constitution specifies a thirty-seven member commission be selected to prepare revisions. The Constitution Revision Commission was created in 1977 and its proposed revision were rejected by the electorate in November 1978. From the description of Background papers...
